Skips can be kept for up to 2 weeks, however, should you require longer please let us know at the time of booking or your earliest opportunity.
No we would never just turn up and take your skip away. Once you have finished you can call us on the number on your skip and we can arrange collection. Should you extend the 2 weeks without any contact we may call you to discuss collecting the skip.
We cover the following areas Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, New Milton, Wimborne, Dorchester, Yeovil, Weymouth, Portland and surrounding areas. Should your area not be listed but potentially just outside of a listed area please call us to discuss on 01202 576575 as we may be able to help.
Usually delivery is the next day if convenient, however, depending on the time you contact us we may be able to deliver the same day on some occasions.
Yes certain items CANNOT go into the skip. These include:
Large tree trunks, paint, toxic materials, solvents, clinical and medical waste, aerosols, canisters, tv’s, monitors, tyres, liquids, fridges and freezers, oil, fuel, automotive fluids, asbestos, air conditioning units, electrical appliances, fluorescent light tubes, food waste.
Up to 10% of the total load can be plasterboard. If you have more than this to dispose of please talk to us about a separate skip for your plasterboard.
You can put hardcore and soil in all out 2 , 4 , 6 and 8 yard skips. Any skip bigger than this cannot contain hardcore and soil due to weight restrictions.
All skips must be kept off the public highway on either a driveway or garden or on private property. There may be occasions when a disclaimer is needed to be signed in order for the skip to be left (for instance, if you require us to leave the skip in a private parking space of a shared car park)
We ask that you have a clear driveway or access when we come to deliver and collect. Should you feel you have awkward access or things like low hanging trees or cables please let us know at the time of booking so we can ensure we use the appropriate vehicles.
We take credit or debit card over the phone when you book your skip or you can pay the driver cash when he delivers your skip. We do not offer an invoice or credit facility, all skips must be paid for prior to delivery.
We carry 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 yard skips. To establish the best size for you please see our skip hire page for more information.
If we turn up to collect the skip and it is overfilled we will do our best to make the skip safe to be able to collect. Due to the fact that this can impact on our day’s work there may be a overload charge.
If we are unable to make the skip safe we may have to remove waste from the skip in order to be able to collect. Due to the time involved in this for our drivers this may incur a charge.
If we are unable to make the skip safe or remove enough waste to continue with the collection we will have to abandon the collection and there will then be a wasted journey charge payable before a re-collection can be arranged.
We will always do our best to collect all skips as arranged and only apply the charges when necessary but please be reasonable with you filling.
