About Us

B J Guy Limited is a family run business. It started out in 1993 as Brian Guy Haulage and Groundworks and has developed over the years to find its feet in the industry. In 2002 the company went 'limited' and took on its official name of B J Guy Limited.

Over the years we have and continue to run a successful groundworks business maintaining both large commercial and private contracts. Whilst this area of the business continues to thrive in 2014 we branched out and started our own skip hire division which is where our biggest focus falls today.

Since 2014 the skip hire and waste element of our business has grown and developed with the times. There has been a lot of change in the world of waste over the years and a big focus on recycling. With this in mind, we began taking steps to help minimise the amount of waste we were responsible for being sent to landfill from our skip hires and started working with the council and the environment agency to establish a waste transfer station permit.

In September 2017 all the hard work we had put in came together and we officially obtained our Waste Transfer Station permit and now operate a fully functioning transfer station ensuring as much of our customers skip hire waste is recycled rather than sent to landfill.

We put our customers and the environment at the heart of what we do at B J Guy Skip Hire and pride ourselves on a job well done all round.
